LIMPOPO - Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane, the head of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC), and his followers are allegedly accused of forcing funeral and accident insurance on church members and profiting from them. Sunday World confirms the reports.Senior church member and legal whiz Jerry Koma made the allegations in a letter to Lekganyane and ZCC attorneys Webber Wentzel in May.Koma's letter was in response to court documents that Lekganyane and his son Edward, among others, had submitted to the Pretoria High Court, seeking the court to modify the terms and conditions of the insurance plan, Kganya Benefit Fund Trust, which is insured by Sanlam Developing Markets.
